Bike Lane Cleanup with Car-Lite and SAFE 7/25/26

Join SAFE, Car-Lite, and Bike Long Beach as we join forces to reclaim Orange Ave, making it safer and cleaner for cyclists and all users. We will be improving the condition and safety of the lane by clearing hazardous debris, trimming overgrowth, and marking dangerous road conditions.

Date: Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Meeting Location: KS Donuts (1176 E Artesia Blvd Long Beach CA 90805)

Tools and snacks will be provided, but we encourage you to bring brooms, clippers, or any other gear you think may be helpful. Pro tip: Work or gardening gloves are a good idea.

As consideration for participating in a bike lane cleanup, all participants are deemed to have released from liability and waived any right to sue its organizers, officers, volunteers and agents from any and all claims, including claims of negligence, resulting in any physical injury, illness (including death) or economic loss suffered as a result of participating in this bike lane cleanup.

By participating in a bike lane cleanup, each participant understands that there are risks, such as physical and/or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, death or economic loss. These injuries or outcomes may arise from a participant’s or other’s actions, inactions, or negligence, or the condition of the location (s) or facility (ies). Nonetheless, participants assume all known and unknown risks of participation in a bike lane cleanup.
