The Haute Dog Howl-oh-ween Parade is happening this Sunday, October 26, so what better way to get there than riding! We’re making this month’s Bikes and Coffee all about pups, with a route visiting several dog parks, stopping for coffee at Black Dog Coffee Roasters, and finishing at Belmont Pool / Rosie’s Dog Beach to catch the parade.
Note that while the parade is at 2:30 p.m., the event starts at 12:30 and we’re planning to arrive shortly after that. And while the official end of our ride is the parade, the route to return back to the start is a safe and easy one, through the beach path and the LA River trail.
Everyone is welcome! Come meet and hang out with fellow bike people. Bring a bike in good condition, helmet and water/snacks.
Start: SteelCraft, 3768 Long Beach Blvd.
Meet time: 10 a.m.. We’ll roll around 10:15 a.m.
End: Belmont Pool / Rosie’s Dog Beach, 4000 E. Olympic Plaza
Distance: About 12 miles
