We’re on the final stretch of Bike Month, and for this month’s Bikes and Coffee ride we’re going to explore the bike infrastructure of downtown Long Beach. Come join us!
This Sunday, May 25th, we’ll meet at Recreational Coffee on Long Beach Boulevard at 10 a.m., and then we’ll take off to ride on the bike lanes on 3rd st and on Broadway, all the way from downtown to Bluff Park, Belmont Shore and the Alamitos Peninsula, checking out interesting spots, shops and artwork in the way.
Total distance is about 12 miles, and we’ll finish at the starting point. This is a social ride at a casual pace, open to anyone on any kind of bike. Bring a bike in good condition, a helmet and lock. Bring a friend too, or come make new ones. See you there!
