The city of Bell is holding an Open Streets event this Sunday, May 4th. Let’s kick off Bike Month by riding there and supporting them, especially since the first Sunday in May is National Ride a Bike Day!

We’ll gather at Gaucho Beach at 8:30am and we’ll get going at 9. You can also meet us at the LA River path and 34th Street around 9:30am.
The ride is about 17 miles each way, mostly on the LA River trail, bike paths and quiet streets. We might also go check out the future site of the Rail to River Project which will connect the LA River path with the A Line at Slauson Station, if the group is up for it.
Everyone is welcome on any bike, but keep in mind the ride is almost 35 miles round trip so it’s not a beginners ride. Make sure you’re okay with a ride of that length.
Bring a bike in good condition, a helmet and water/snacks. See you there!
Start and end location: Gaucho Beach, 780 E Shoreline Dr.
Meet time: 8:30am
